Chimera's Route - A Luminous Book

This open air multimedia book of light consisted in a route with 7 distinct short video mapping animation points. Revealing key episodes of the intriguing literary work of Miguel de Cervantes, Don Quixote, the animations were created with illustrations by the French artist Gérard Garouste. Seeking to involve the public in the very particular ambiance of the story, a soundtrack of a mysterious Spanish guitar accompanied the live paintings.
This multimedia show has been made possible with the kindly usage of the beautiful illustrations by Gérard Garouste, from his book “Don Quichotte de Cervantès”, published by Éditions Diane de Selliers.
