Macao - Giant Lanterns

As giant luminous flowers, these iconic lanterns come from Macau to bloom this urban garden in the heart of Cascais, bringing to the village the true festive spirit of the East. In order to fill the bay with movement, the Lion Dance will be introduced. This folk dance deeply integrated in the chinese tradition and culture, is performed by Kung Fu fighters due to its physical demands, and is usually integrated in celebratory events like ceremonies and inaugurations.
